Arizona Sunset

I was driving back to my mom's house when I noticed the sky beginning to transform over Arizona's White Tank Mountains.

The road offered an unobstructed view of the mountains, and the sunset looked promising. Rather than continue driving, I found a safe place to pull over, parked the car, and waited.

It was worth the wait.

As the sun sank lower, the sky erupted into brilliant reds, oranges, and yellows, glowing like flames against the darkening evening sky. It was one of those unforgettable moments that photographs can only begin to capture.

Rather than reproduce a single photograph exactly, I used several of the images I took that evening as inspiration, combining them to create my own interpretation of the dramatic Arizona sunset.
